Rokusho (Japanese patina) solution treated (except silver beans).

The mokume gane sheet appeared in #14, a sheet looks like a leaf turned into a hull above.
The hull was treated in ROKUSHO(Japanese patina) solution.

I was trying to take photos of the process as many as possible, however, when I 'm working on the piece, I concentrate on making it and I forget about photoshooting.

Silver on silver mokume gane sheet has changed its shape like this.

Mokume pattern on beans are very subtle, yet still visible.
Beans are pretty much a life size.

Mokume Gane Billet Making

This is the billet after bonding. (Composed of silver, copper and shakudo)
Although I used the forge bonding method, oxidation seems mininum.

I put a thicker silver sheet at one end and the rest are all the same in thickness.
