- Name: kanadoko
Toshi -metal artist- I was apprenticed to a metalsmith in Japan. Learned and acquired contemporary and traditional metalwork techniques there. Currently I'm very much interested in making mokume gane materials, and also creating those beautiful multi-layered metals into art pieces. Resided in Watsonville, CA.

very beautiful works, I especially love the iron snail. I am also learning to make mokume, i found your page while searching google, and am very happy to have seen it. Have you seen this technique by a German maker? He makes seamless rings by cutting inside and opening a twisted rod into a large circle and turning it inside out so the stars show on the outside, then compressing it down to finger size.
